Language Requirement
International students and researchers planning to study in Finland do not necessarily need to know Finnish or Swedish. Many universities in Finland offer their programs in English, which is widely spoken in academic circles and throughout the country. It is advisable to consult with the academic department regarding the availability of courses and the possibility of conducting research in English.
Cost of Study and Standard of Living in Finland
Non-EU/EEA students interested in English-taught Master's degree programs in Finland may be required to pay tuition fees ranging from approximately $4,000 to $21,000 per year. However, Finnish universities provide numerous scholarships that cover full tuition. Additionally, the Fulbright Finland Scholarship Awards are offered in partnership with Finnish universities and include a full tuition scholarship as part of the grantee benefits package.

Eligibility
Fulbright grantees in Finland can pursue one of the following purposes:

Fulbright scholarship grants are awarded for one full academic year and include a monthly allowance.
